Cream Cheese Filling Recipe For Crepes & Cream Cheese Fruit Dip Recipe!
I recently shared a recipe for delicious, light, and airy crepes. Crepes are perfect for this time of year when fresh fruit is plentiful. They are a quick, lightly sweetened dessert or breakfast for hot days when you really don’t feel like cooking and heating up the kitchen. Cream cheese filling and sweet ricotta are my favorite. This cream cheese filling recipe also makes a great dip for fruit and filling for cake, banana bread, zucchini bread, pumpkin roll, and so much more. In my opinion this cream cheese filling is irresistibly delicious paired with any type of spice cake. This will be a go to recipe for many dishes.
How long does cream cheese filling/dip stay good? Opinions on this very from 1 to 2 weeks in the refrigerator. I prefer one week.
Can I freeze cream cheese filling/dip? Yes you can freeze cream cheese filling in a Ziploc bag for up to six months. You may have to add a little more confectioners sugar and whisk it once it’s thawed, I find it sometimes thaws a little watery.
What you will need
One cup of confectioners sugar
3 tablespoons softened butter
1 brick of cream cheese
1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
1. In a bowl beat together cream cheese and butter until fluffy and well combined.
2. Gradually beat in confectioner’s sugar and vanilla. Continue beating until the mixture is smooth. If you find that your mixture is too thick you can add a 1/2 teaspoon of milk. I hope you enjoy the crepes as much as I do. Be sure to try the sweet ricotta filling as well, it is delicious! Thank You for stopping by Lia Rose Simply Home!
