Homemade All-Purpose Cleaner
How to make an all-purpose spray cleaner with vinegar that really works! Do you want to try making your own cleaning products but feel overwhelmed? You’re not sure they will be as effective as the store-bought cleaners. You are at the right place.
It took me a while to have confidence in and try homemade cleaning products. A little while ago I made my first homemade cleaning products and I’m so glad I did. Now that I’ve seen for myself how well homemade products work, how cheap they are to make, and chemical-free I will be making more instead of buying them. The recipe I’m sharing today is for an all-purpose spray cleaner, and let me tell you this stuff cuts grease better than any store-bought cleaner I’ve used. Lemon essential oil is inexpensive and excellent at cutting grime and grease. It’s also a natural disinfectant and leaves a streak-free shine. There is tea tree oil in this recipe as well. Tea tree oil is a great antibacterial.
Will this cleaner smell like vinegar? No! This cleaner will not smell like vinegar at all. The lemon essential oil has a refreshing and clean smell. It reminds me of fresh air on a spring day.
Can I use this cleaner on my stainless steel appliances? Yes, dampen a paper towel, spray your homemade cleaner onto the paper towel, and clean your stainless steel. You will love the results with a streak-free shine.
For use on glass or ceramic baking dishes with stuck-on food. Spray the cleaner directly on the dish and let it soak for 15 minutes or as long as needed then add dish soap and clean. You will notice a difference in how much easier it is to clean. The lemon and vinegar work wonderfully together for stuck-on food. Check out the recipe for homemade scouring scrub here on the blog. Try it on your kitchen sink and check out my tip on how to make your stainless steel sink shine.
