How To Make a Christmas Ornament Wreath

#DIY Christmas orament wreath. This pretty DIY Christmas wreath is inexpensive, easy and fun to make.

Get your glue guns warmed up for this fun DIY Christmas wreath you can make for $10. I've seen this DIY Christmas ornament wreath on social media for a couple of years now and never gave it a try because I thought it would be complicated. It turns out this is one of the easiest DIYs I've ever done. It's budget friendly if you buy your supplies at Dollar Tree. I spent a total of $10 including the ribbon that was $2.97 at Walmart.

Why DIY? Styles and our personal taste change often so why not save money when you can. I have Christmas decor I use every year and then there is the decor that I liked for a short time that stays in the basement. This year I finally went through everything and donated the decor I no longer had interest in. With prices on a steady increase I decided to give this DIY wreath a go and save $30. I saw one similar to the one I made for $40 at the store.

Instructions

This is diy Christmas ornament wreath is simple and customizable there is no right, or wrong way to do this. Pick a place on the wire wreath and start hot glueing the ornaments on, one layer at a time. I suggest laying down a cheap table cloth or something on your work surface especially if your ornaments have glitter on them.

I find it easiest to start with the inner ring and move towards the outer rings filling in the middle last. I bought the smaller size ornaments and used 7 tubes.

Hot glue the tip of your ornament (where you would place a hook to hang the ornament) to your wire wreath working from the inside out. Once you've reached the middle, glue the ornaments to each other. For the ribbon I wrapped it around the wreath and hot glued the ends together.
