Inspired by the season, I whipped up my favorite lemon blueberry quick bread recipe. The recipe is incredibly easy to prepare. With fresh or frozen blueberries and lemon, along with basic pantry staples like flour, sugar, and baking powder, I was ready to go, one of the greatest advantages of quick breads is their speediness. There's no waiting for dough to rise or kneading required. You might be wondering, what exactly is quick bread, and what role does yogurt play when used in baking?
